Drowning By Numbers

Year: 1991
Attributes: Color, NTSC, VHS
Rating:
Length: 120 minutes

Featured Bears: Bernard Hill

Review:
Mmmm, Bernard Hill! Possibly my favourite movie bear ever! You probably saw Titanic -- Hill played Cpt. Smith in that one. Here he has reddish brown, wavy hair and matching beard, looking quite a bit younger, but just as handsome! Hill plays the lead character, "Madgett", who falls for three women at once, who plot against him, leading to tragic consequences for poor Madgett. You'll want to rewind (over and over!) the scene with Madgett wearing nothing but a thin tie, sitting in bed, with that lovely chest and shoulders...then he GETS UP and walks to his window and we get a great, long look at his back and grab-able ass! The rest of the movie, you'll be looking into his lovable, warm eyes, as well as the rest of his gorgeous attributes. This is a Peter Greenaway film, so if you've seen any of his other movies like "The Cook, The Thief, His Wife & Her Lover", or "The Pillow Book", you may have some hint of the artsy- ness you should expect here, but Bernard Hill will keep your eyes occupied even if you're scratching your head at some of the other things going on in this movie.

Featured Bears: Kevin Smith   Ethan Suplee

Review:
Two bears of note: Smith (Silent Bob) with more scenes than in Slackers or Chasing Amy, and Suplee who is a chubby bear trying to make sense of those annoying 3-D art things. The DVD version of this move contains over one hour of Deleted Scenes, plus commentary from writer/director (and bear of great note) Kevin Smith.

Woman Chaser, The

Year: 1999
Attributes: Based on a Novel, B/W, VHS
Rating:
Length: 87 minutes

Featured Bears: Patrick Warburton

Review:
This movie made little noise at the box office, and is not currently available commercially in the US, but you can usually track down VHS copies on Ebay or Amazon Auctions. It's worth the hunt! The movie is a B/W adaptation of Charles Willeford's novel starring Patrick Warburton (Seinfeld, The Tick, numerous TV commercials). The movie features numerous shirtless shots of the gloriously furry-chested Warburton. The movie is odd & quirky, and may not appeal to everyone, but you may still enjoy watching it with the sound off! [Not currently available from Amazon. -Ed.]
