The Men of Whose Line Is It Anyway? If you're scratching your head at our choice of TV shows, you obviously haven't seen the original, British version of Whose Line Is It Anyway? Now in reruns on Comedy Central (on US cable), the show features a constantly-shifting cast of four actors who spend each episode playing improv games based on the audience's suggestions. Unlike the relatively tame and fur-less US version, the British version is much more interesting. See for yourself! Mike the Singing Bartender
Series regular Mike McShane sings advice to his lovelorn customer, Ryan Stiles. I'm Callin' You Out!!
Watch your back, Stone Cold. Mike takes on the role of Captain Casualty and threatens to use his patented "double butch body-slam." Bring it on! You Go, Girl!
The WLLIA superheroes join forces to solve yet another world crisis. Assisting them is Mike McShane as "Coquettish Slut Man," whose witty repartee and stylish cigarettes save the day. Go West, Young Man
Dressed like a hip college professor, Ron West provides a dry, witty counterpoint to the more over-the-top players like Greg Proops (left). One of his more memorable characters was a superhero named "Ripped-Off in the Divorce Settlement Man." Vested Interest
Weather may change but one thing remains constant: if stocky pocket-behr Steve Steen is on the show, he'll be wearing one of his trademark vests. And there's a good chance he'll stick out his tongue at least once. Or someone else will, such as Mr. Never Afraid To Kiss A Guy For A Laugh (aka Mike McShane). Seen some fur on the screen recently? Tell us about it! Send mail to news@resourcesforbears.com and we'll put it in the next edition of this column.
