Wanted! Regular Contributors to BearNews
In order to make BearNews a success, we're hoping a assemble a regular team of contributors ("cub reporters" if you like) who will send us articles (or other materials) on the order of once every month (very negotiable, but we want to get the ball rolling). The articles needn't be on the same set of topics, but they should have something to do with the Bear Community.
Some of the ideas we've kicked around:
- Bear sightings in the media
- Bear happenings (events, etc.)
- Op-Ed pieces on how bears fit into issues relevant to the gay community
- Relationships
- Humor
- Travel! Where the bear-friendly places are!
- Interviews
BearClubs are invited to send us reports of what your club is doing, announcements, write-ups of major events, and so forth.
Articles will be archived at the Resources for Bears website. They can include multimedia (within limits, but we're interested in any ideas you have). The main BearNews page will be dynamic, changing daily (although articles will stick around for at least a few days to a few weeks, depending on what the queue is like).
