The Natural Bears Classification System
Before you go and copy the NBCS to use elsewhere, please make sure that your intended use complies with the following requirements:
- Ideally, we'd prefer that you just link to the canonical site,
http://www.resourcesforbears.com/nbcs/,
since any changes that are made will show up there.
- Permission must be obtained from
one of the authors.
- The NBCS cannot be sold, alone, or as part of some larger work.
(In other words, the NBCS cannot be reproduced for profit.)
- The NBCS must be printed in its entirety. No changes can be
made to the listings, their definitions, etc. Adding new
definitions, change or removing definitions is strictly
forbidden.
- The authors' names and contact information must appear
at/near the beginning of the text.
- The copyright notice must be displayed.
- The canonical URL (http://www.resourcesforbears.com/nbcs/)
must appear.
- The page may not contain banner ads, or appear to carry an endorsement
for a product, organization, etc.
- We encourage translation of the NBCS to other languages, but after you've done this, you must send us a copy so that we can include it on the official NBCS website.
Obey these requirements. If you have special circumstances that require an exemption, please let us know.
We would appreciate learning about illegal or non-compliant versions of the NBCS found on the WWW.
